something to do with post-transcriptional modification could come up.. because DNA methylation is a type of post-translational modification.. it controls gene expression (by switching certain genes on or off).. it is an epigenetic mechanism (environmental factors causing genes to behave/express themselves differently)

ive got some questions plz answer :-

    define oxygen debt.
why are rod cells more sensitive than cone cells ?
Oxygen debt is caused by anaerobic respiration. It is the oxygen needed to reduce lactate into pyruvate into the Krebs cycle to produce CO2 and H2O.
I am not specifically sure why rod cells are more sensitive but I think it is due to the fact that they can work in dim-light conditions as rhodopsin is a very sensitive pigment to light?

hmmm u mean OXIDISE lactate into pyruvate..

i think it has to do something with the fact that a bunch of rod cells connect to a single bipolar cell while each cone cell has one bipolar cell..hmmmmmm whatdya think...?!

Ah yeah... silly mistake of me pyruvate is oxidised (i am very tired! lol)
I think that what u said about the bipolar neurone is correct.
