How anyone could consider voting for Livingstone is beyond me. -

I'd prefer to vote for Ken than Boris. Supporting the Tories is a no no for me.
But one of Boris' main reasons for success is how he's managed to transcend the Conservative Party label and run, in the eyes of many, more-or-less as an independent candidate. It's hard to even find a reference to the Tories in his campaign material. -

Re: London Mayoral Election 2012 (Poll Included)That's partly true. I do agree that he is quite independent but he still belongs to that party so he has the same ethos I suppose. I like him as a character, but politically, I'm not sure.

Re: London Mayoral Election 2012 (Poll Included)
I would vote Jenny Jones first choice with Ken Livingstone second if I was old enough. I put Ken in the poll though, as I'd do this in the knowledge that my vote would almost certainly be transferred to Ken anyway, and I would be perfectly happy seeing him as Mayor. Boris is for me an extremely dangerous candidate - he seems like a very nice person on the surface, and different from your average Tory, but in terms of his actual politics he's almost a pure Thatcherite disaster, wanting to cut tax for the rich whilst putting up transport fares and state subsidised housing prices for the poor.
