Trade embargo. They're trying to make life as hard as possible for our fellow Brits on the Falklands, so lets return the favour. Be even better if we could get allies like the US and the EU to cripple them.
****ing hate Argentina.

At the current moment, nothing at all....the Falklands is defended pretty well defended apart from the air defence, which could do with a boost to ensure a better chance of complete defence.

In the meantime, I think we should just wait it out until their next action, because their action isn't going to win them any support to be honest. It'll just strength the UK's position in the UN and the Argentinians are just going to rank up the violations leading a much stronger sanctions.

The UK government should respond by sending a Tomahawk cruise missile right up Kirchner's arse.

We just stand our ground, they can't do anything to us militarily or politically.

Not a pre-emptive strike per say. But militarisation of the islands most certainly. A trade embargo as well. If they're going to pull stunts like that we should respond likewise.

We need to remember that Argentina has no claim to the islands, and has absolutely no right to impose its' rule over the islanders. Their colonialist tactics should not be tolerated.

As satisfying as that would be (if anything just to shut her up) I'm afraid we can't really do that =P

Lol Oh I think we could get away with it. From what I've heard even her own people, the Argentines, don't like her. We'd be doing them a favour, as well as us. Everybody wins!

by pre-emptive strike i assume you mean bomb the ****ers? personally i say thats a bad move, the americans would not take kindly to us carpet bombing their back garden and messing up their supply of mcdonalds meat
trade embargo sounds good, theyll loose a lot more than we would and it keeps us on the moral high ground. they set a toe on the Falkland isles though then bomb them back to the stone age :colone:

Isn't it obvious? They keep demanding that we give them back the Falklands or even negotiate with them. Falklands are British. Until they realise that they can **** off back to their backward South American socialist ****hole. *****.

Sit back laughing at them and flipping them off. Argentina can't do anything in either the political or military arena when it comes to the Falklands. All that's going on is she's sabre rattling for votes.

Give them back their bloody islands. I am fed up of having my taxes go on supporting some useless bits of rock that no more belong to Antarticta than they do to England. If the 2000 Falklanders want to remain British, then let them move to England.

They're not their islands. That's the point.

And why on earth should we stand by and let argentina invade someones home?

Because I don't want to pay to keep it British. If the islanders don't mind paying the cost of keeping the British Army there, then I am more than happy for them to remain British.
