    part time jobs
Is it true that you're not allowed to get a part-tim job whilst studying at oxbridge? Or is that just a myth?

If you work part time whilst studying at Oxford or Cambridge, the chancellor puts your balls in a vice.

At Cambridge, you aren't allowed to work whilst studying unless you get special permission, which is rarely given. I'm not sure about Oxford.

Same for Oxford, special permission needed and not easily obtained. But honestly, no one has time for it anyway, if you want to work you have to do it over the vac.
