    What is the NHS Reform Bill?
    I mean I know that the Reform is a load of changes to the NHS but what are these changes exactly. And how will this affect us?

    I heard they were going to include private organisations. They haven't released an official report as of yet but I'm sure it isn't a good thing. Damn Tories.

    Basically handing over management to private companies and letting doctors manage some money.

    The private sector has been involved in running various aspects of the NHS since the 1980s (which did not stop under New Labour). This Bill is looking to majorly increase the involvement of the private sector and make it easier for them to interfere in the NHS. Put simply:

    This is not altogether unexpected since the three main parties are all committed neo-liberals of varying degrees.
