Hey guys! I have also firmed Oxford Brookes and will be studying Accounting and Finance in september - i can't wait for uni life! Tesco ready dinners and cheap booze here i come haha!

Has everyone applied for their accomodation? I haven't actually seen the halls in real life, so all my opinions are based on the pictures provided by OB website or other students views. However, i still took the plunge and applied to the halls in the following order:
1.Clive Booth Hall
2.Slade Park
3.Westminster
4.Paul Kent
5.Cheney Village
(all ensuite)

Im a 3rd year going into 4th year.

Clive Booth is a student village type of arrangement and is closest to Gipsy Lane Campus.

Slade Park is one of the newest and in the middle of nowhere, theres a small selection of shops nearby and buses to Headington,Oxford and Wheatley.

Westminster is at Harcourt hill (only apply here if on a education based course i.e teaching.

Paul Kent . This is down the road from Slade Park and is built on a former Nuclear Bunker site.

Cheney, this is on the otherside of the gipsy lane campus right next to the sports field.

Me too!! So glad to have found someone else have you had any trouble with student finance? They're trying to give me a tuition fees loan of last years prices, and I've spent ages going backwards between the uni and different student finance advisors

Im going into 4th year at brookes.

What do you mean by 'prepare for your degree' ?

They usually send out enrolment information, or it is on PIP pages and the Induction week is designed to make everyone aware of what they should expect and when to ask the key questions.
