Are these good grades?
But, don;t worry they are above average and you are specialising in English which is where you have your As and A*s so you A-Levels should be good. -
Re: Are these good grades?I know their not Oxbridge material! I am aiming to study English at either Exeter, Sussex or UEA - UEA is the one I really like the looks off! Have I got a chance - providing I get good A levels?(Original post by GreenLantern1)
To be blunt; no, they're not good grades.

Are you happy with them
Did you work hard to get them
If the answer to the above questions is "yes" then ... yes they are good grades
Note You cannot count both of your Maths grades ... so do you have an 8th? -
Re: Are these good grades? Not a second Science grade ... the vast majority of people do 2 sciences(Original post by GrantG)
No :| -
Re: Are these good grades?School only let us pick 3 options. One is a BTEC in IT(Original post by Sunshine showers)
They're decent, but not very competitive.
Why do you only have 8, btw? -
Re: Are these good grades?those grades are great for the courses hes doing(Original post by GreenLantern1)
To be blunt; no, they're not good grades.

just because someone doesn't achieve all A*'s and A's doesnt mean their grades are not good.

Re: Are these good grades?
Oh my gosh I'd hate to ask people if my grades are good on tsr, the majority of people on here are so pretentious about it e.g. you only have good grades if you got 6 or more A*s at gcse and 5 A*s at A level kinda thing. Your grades are really good you should be proud of them.
if you want to know if you'll get into a uni, go onto their website and find out what they want from the course you'll be applying to... -
Re: Are these good grades? You want to study English and don`t know when to use "their" and they`re ?????(Original post by GrantG)

Re: Are these good grades? So in fact, you have 6 plus Btec IT (probably 2) and if you can be bothered to finish it Btec Science (probably 2)(Original post by GrantG)
School only let us pick 3 options. One is a BTEC in IT
So you would have the equivalent of 10
If you are capable of As and Bs then you should be getting Merits or Distinctions in the Btecs
just because someone doesn't achieve all A*'s and A's doesnt mean their grades are not good.
