Doing this exam too. Revision's been going well.
    Gonna revise it tomorrow.
    How do you revise?
I first learn and revise the concepts and then I try solving past papers.

Can you help me with this, please? What do we have to know for the following specification point in unit 4 topic 6:

    13. Explain the roles of antigens and antibodies in the body’s immune response including the involvement of plasma cells, macrophages and antigen-presenting cells ??

Learn info>Make sure I can recite it verbally or typewritten>Past papers

Biology, there's a lot to learn and you may think that you know everything but in fact, you probably forgot some stuff. Writing it down again and again will re-inforce the info.
So I use my whiteboard to write it down.

    phagocyte engulfs and destroys pathogen
phagocyte presents pathogen's antigens on it's surface membrane
this is called antigen processing/phagocyte is an antigen presenting cell
t helper cells is complementary to the receptor on the phagocyte
t helper binds to it and this stimulates the division of b cells
b cells produce b memory cells and plasma cells
plasma cells can give rise to antibodies which can for antibody-antigen complexes which are phagocytosed by phagocytes

Making your notes helps a lot. Try making your own notes. I am in the process of making my own notes so they aren't complete yet. If you have any specific doubts, feel free to ask.

I saw it( the phloem tissue stuff) in the implementation and assessment guide(in the section for unit 4).

BTW, if you noticed bio papers( chem and phsyics too) in edexcel are starting to test stuff not in the books or pat papers etc. Eg in th bio unit 4 paper one qs asked for 2 types of cells infected by hiv but the book only talks abt T-helper cells. Do you know where/how candidates are supossed to know this things. If you know any resources please tell me. Thks
