the function is defined piecewise by
h(x) = 0 when 0<x<1 and h(x) =x-1 when x>1!!
Solve the initial value problem (Ay)(x)=h(x) , Ay=y''-y y(0)=y'(0)=0
by finding green's function for A using variation of parameters!!!
First of all m^2-1=0 -> m=1,m=-1 !!
then y1=c1f1+c2f2 here i stuck!! i dont know how to continue!!! how i found the functions here?? anyomne help? -
