My name's Jo and i'm a qualified youth worker with person centred and on-line counselling qualifications.

I work for the charity AVA (against violence and abuse) where I help young people who have experienced many forms of violence, including sexual violence and rape.

As part of the This is ABUSE campaign (you may have seen their adverts on TV, also on their website here) we are looking to reach out and talk to those worried about or affected by sexual abuse and rape and offer as much support as we can.

If you have experienced sexual abuse or rape or any other type of relationship abuse, or if you have any questions you would like to ask, please feel free to share them in this forum and I will do my best to help you.
