Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades? If GCSEs were so "piss easy", how come you don't have all A*s?(Original post by Azarimanka)
But GCSEs are Piss easy. I screwed up in my opinion - I got 2As and 1B along with 8A*. I suppose if you are just going to leave school **** grades are fine -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Since you're so clever, can you tell me what it is that belongs to A*?(Original post by hannah1994)
all A*'s. if you don't get that mate then don't bother with a-levels.

Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Because I did 0 work.(Original post by NightBear)

Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Exactly. Pe'ople don't understan'd what apostroph'es are used for.(Original post by When you see it...)

Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?not necessarily colleges often want an A in that subject eg.languages and further maths(Original post by cuckoo99)
A*-B grades are better than average grades of C's, but tbh geting a B instead of an A at gcse doesnt really matter, you will still get on to ur A level course and thats where everything counts !!!!! only exception to this rule would be for oxbridge applicants as they will need A* and A's at gcse. most uni's dnt care about gcse's all they care about is you have 5 A*-C grades and gcse's in maths and english to grade C or above.
Edit: i got ABBCCCCD btw
i didnt really revise apart from in science where i got my A ;p the D is in media studies rofl piss take subject

Exactly. Pe'ople don't understan'd what apostroph'es are used for. -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?lulz(Original post by Azarimanka)
Because I did 0 work.
If you need to work in order to achieve something, it can't be classified as "piss easy" anymore.
Kinda slow for someone with 8 A*s, aren't you? No worries hun, we all (still!) love you xxxx -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Me too I got 4 B's & 4 C's(Original post by Bundx)
Well i got a mixture of B's & C's - mostly C's though. The only A's I got were for Coursework. But for me that was brilliant- as I spent my GCSE/school years with a heart condition, waiting for the open heart surgery that i got when i was 16. -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades? Not really - if someone can achieve, without work, 8A* 2A 1B then I would suggest a minor amount of work, perhaps in the revision side of things, would lead to complete A* - but then I have to say that there is nothing challenging in the UK School system. One can easily get through and go to university with no work. Same goes for university, to be entirely honest.(Original post by NightBear)

Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades? It's a joke, and I was saying that because someone put "A*'s" (with an apostrophe).(Original post by Azarimanka)
Relvance? -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Do you go to Bath Medical school?(Original post by Azarimanka)

Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades? No, why would I go there?(Original post by NightBear)
Do you go to Bath Medical school? -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Wow 16!(Original post by Dalek1099)
Some A*s and As and some Bs,none below B.
A+ in English Language and Maths.
10+ GCSES
Minimum for exemplar 10(eg.4A*s,4As and 2Bs)
I'm doing 16 and require(7A*s,6As and 3Bs) for a good set.
@burgerrr I go to a good school(70% 5 A*-C,including English+ Maths,92% 5 A*-C) and have a poor background,i have been fed on benefits all my life.
Btw was that last bit meant to mean anything to me? All i was saying is that if someone is not encouraged to do well from people in school, or home, then to expect them to do as well as someone who has all the help they could get can be harder.
Not saying that people who come from a poor backround cannot achieve any less than anyone else, but i understand that it can be harder for them to. In my opinion getting good grades if you have had to work off your own back is very commendable. -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?I used to admire exceptionally smart people. Then I realised people like you exist. You make me sick. You may be gifted with the ability to find 'nothing challenging with the UK school system', but it's clear that you lack any level of social skills.(Original post by Azarimanka)
No, why would I go there?
Do you think everyone should be at your level?
If so, get to my level. Do some charity work, be a nice person and don't, on behalf of everyone here, be an arrogant waste of oxygen. -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades?Maybe for the select few they are "piss easy". Anyway it's easy to look back and think they are easy, but they are only "easy" in comparison with a-levels, for example.(Original post by Azarimanka)
I don;t see what background has to do with it. GCSEs are piss
If backround, or atleast circumstances don't make a difference then how come Eton gets better results than say, a comp in a deprived part of the country? -
Re: What's your idea of good GCSE grades? Not at all but given how easy GCSEs are I struggle to see how people find them hard. I don;t see what it has to do with you?(Original post by USKEY)
