Its ok Im not sure about the bursary, i got a 2.2 so i dont get a bursary so im going to be keeping my part time job during the PGCE so havent looked into it since i found out i get nothing! Im doing upper primary, which i cant wait for! Im going to be commuting from nottingham because i didnt want to move out so i can save some money but if i struggle then i will have to. What about you?
If I get on I will be commuting from Nottingham too! On the bursary its on the tda website and it is paid from the uni per month I think. 9k for a first (so I hope I get on as I got a first!!) and 5k for the 2:1.

Its a good hour and half drive, atleast car share would be an option if you meet the right people!

    Hi

When I spoke to bg they said they start paying the bursary in 10 monthly installments from October and we don't need to do anything at the mo.

Tashmuntaner - I live in sleaford so not far from you

Hope those who had interview found it went okay. I managed to get through the interview phase and they said there were enough places available for everyone there today if they met the criteria so good luck and let us all know how you get on! Everyone seemed really nice, I hope to see you in september! Will let you know in the longest 7-10 days of my life!

Enrollment is either monday 10th sept or Tues 11th sept but we are allocated a day to enrol. And lectures start that wednesday. But they are still interviewing and sorting out our timetables and who is enrolling on which day. Ive been waiting since April for more info lol and so far just got stuff i need to read up on before.

Now I'm in I don't mind giving a lift for petrol contribution, all helps, although they do help pay for travel but I think that's only for placements, not for getting to uni. But I will be driving anyway so if anyone needs a lift and lives close enough to me to get in mornings I don't mind. Public transport is not that reliable and probably much more expensive... But I dunno!

I dont mind chipping in for petrol to uni and stuff. But it does depend where you live? and i suppose depends on timetables and stuff too :yep:
