2012 IndyCar Season Thread
apparently first race of the new IndyCar season is on Sky Sports F1 on Sunday evening should be interesting to watch, seen bits of previous seasons on tv but never a full race.
Franchitti is world champion still and other British drivers in it as well so be interesting
following former F1 drivers will be racing:
Rubens Barrichello (if you don't remember Rubens then GTFO)
Justin Wilson (ex-Minardi and Jaguar driver in 2003 season)
Sebastien Bourdais (former Toro Rosso driver)
Takuma Sato (former Jordan, BAR and Super Aguri driver)

Re: 2012 IndyCar Season Thread
OK Rubens, you've got a left coming up after this straight and there's a guy behind you....he's still behind you.... he's now slightly to your right and behind you.... now he's behind you...and now there's another left... and he's still behind you....still behind you....and another left...

I might watch a bit to see if the above gets disproven to me, but I've watched a bit of oval racing on MotorsTV recently and yes, whilst the skill of being 3 wide for half a lap is to be applauded, it's just not as exciting as track racing. -
Re: 2012 IndyCar Season Threadonly 5 of the races are on ovals this season(Original post by mikeyd85)

Re: 2012 IndyCar Season ThreadThe Indy 500 is always worth watching, in the same way that Le Mans and Monaco have appeal far beyond their normal boundaries... Will be very interesting to see how Rubens gets on with the way things are set up; also will be nice to not have the constant whining from Danica Patrick now that she's buggered off to Nascar...(Original post by SciFiBoy)
