Great advice so far. Keep em coming

I might do a live day-by-day trip report throughout my travels to update people here and let people know what it's like travelling throughout Asia, just in case anybody else wanted to do something similar in the future.

I guess if this posts gets negs then I could change my mind...

Yes, I couldn't understand that, either.

The most popular Lycra based hat and sock combo suit ever. Obviously.

I am now less than 9hrs away from leaving my house to get to the airport!

11.30 is my flight Sunday morning. I will arrive in Singapore around 00.30 sunday night/monday morning UK time (07.30 Mon morning Singapore time).

I may keep everyone updated of my travels and let people know how I'm getting on! It's not easy going solo, but is an adventure you have to admit that!

There's no point in going to Asia if you're not going to Borneo. Just putting it out there.

Didn't fancy Borneo this time, but one day I will certainly do Kota Kinabalu (and Brunei).

This year I am focussing mainly on cities, rather than dense jungle and orangutans.

But they were SO COOL! You will HAVE to go at some point. KK may smell like poo, and have bed bugs all over the place, but it's still really nice!

Yep, and having a whale of a time!
I would post some videos, but too many trolls on here that would dislike them all for the sake of it.

Still in Singapore for 2 more days before heading off to Bangkok - which apparently will be even hotter than Singapore.

Yeah I'm also in Singapore, trust me it feels 10 degrees cooler than Malaysia or Thailand, when I got off the coach I thought they had out door aircon!

It's been 99degrees in Bangkok for the past few days. Looks like it's going to stay that way too.

Ridiculous. I have been burnt on my legs badly even here in Singapore (10am laying in front of the pool for an hour), but in Bangkok I might just stay in aircon hotels.

Lucky! I've been staying in hostels with no aircon let alone a pool!
