    Psychology or Neuroscience?
Ive recieved offers from all 5 of my choices, but im still in indecision over which i should accept. The three i am considering are:
    Sussex - Neuroscience
    Glasgow -Psychology
Bath - Psychology and management/Buisness and politics
Even though I may prefer to study Neuroscience, it wouldnt give me the career flexibility or open as many dorrs as psychology.
Furthermore im not sure if the course at Bath counts as psychology anyway or if its worth it?: http://www.bath.ac.uk/study/ug/prosp...siences/detail
Thanks for the advise in advance!!

I personally would go for the more broad subject. It's amazing how many times you will change your mind about what it is you enjoy and would like to do ultimately.

If you feel neuroscience is something you're particularly keen on, your university may give you the opportunity to choose related modules. Plus there's always the option of doing masters afterwards if you want to specialise.

Psychology, but check if that bath course is BPS credited. If its not, its better off going to glasgow or doing neuroscience (which has links to psychology for what thats worth).

Here's the proper bath course: http://www.bath.ac.uk/study/ug/prosp...ciences/detail if i did social sciences my degree wouldn’t be called that it would be something like Psychology with management or economics and politics depending on what combination I choose.. not sure if its as credible as a straight up psychology course or if i can change.. it was my backup u see

Why would learning Neuroscience open more doors? I don't understand that one - I'm trying to think of jobs that would turn down a neuroscience graduate in preference of a psychology one, I can think of one or two but that's about it.

Maybe I've been mislead somewhere, but I thought the jobs psychology graduates are suited for are highly competitive due to the shear number of them compared to the jobs.

naa what i meant is that a psychology degree is more versatile and that Careers in psychology are more diverse and varied. Yh i agree with the last part! Of course I will need neuroscience if i'm heading into that field however outside academia would it be a strong degree to apply with? a neuroscience degree would let me stand out from the crowd perhaps, psychology seems to be the most widely study in the uk. Neuroscience definitely isnt :/

I would say Psychology; if you change your mind about a specific career, Psychology degrees (providing they are BPS accredited) open up a lot of doors for professional training. Many Psych degrees offer Neuroscience modules as part of the course, so if you are particularly interested you can still study it. You could do a MSc in Neuroscience after you graduate should you want to go into a career in this field.
