Re: IB jobs in the US?
with a degree from the UK? nope. There is a small chance but the majority of recruiting and interviews there are done on campus and students are then invited for superdays is they do well.
moving to there after starting a job is possible but it depends on whether they need you or not. -
Re: IB jobs in the US?US economy doing better than the UK one atm..(Original post by Spurious)
US economy in the ****ter.
Extremely difficult to explain to the authorities there why an UK excel monkey is better than an US excel monkey. -

Re: IB jobs in the US?Even with an Oxbridge or LSE 1st your chances at a job straight out of uni if you don't have US citizenship or a green card is nil.(Original post by wachno)
Does anyone know if final year students are offered IB jobs in the US?
However, I do know someone from China who has a high 2:1 from Manchester that went to US on a post-degree exchange program, he did an internship with Goldman Sachs while on his exchange... after the exchange Goldman Sachs gave him a job on the basis that they were grooming him for a China managerial position.
I would say the case of my friend is an exception rather than the norm. -
