    It took about 40 mins to bake the cake but probably about 2hrs to decorate I think. A much better (and way more fun) use of an afternoon than doing work...

    just been trying to decide what to make very tempted by a poppy seed cake... though the passion fruit and mango sounded rather tasty (though my last experiance with passion fruit was a bit of a failure ) ahh decisions decisions

    Well here's my entry, I don't think I'll win but I gave it my best shot (although icing the side of the cake was hard :erm:)

    Hehe I'm not sure. I think with a lot of whisking, food colouring and the lighting :P

    MINe and a friends's entry
    A three layered cake ( flavoured with yummy artifical flavourings (Strawberry, vanilla and a tutti-fruiti blue thing) ) with chocolate cream cheese frosting decorated with cute little fondant things We even attempted to make a sugar spun birds nest and ended up making dangerous looking candy floss~
    It was really fun making this

    Basically the chicks took over nad that massive chick is made up of leftover cake+some yummy cheesecake frosting And yes hta tis a rabbit's butt you see there The chicks have taken over

    There are some really excellent entries here! I don't stand a chance but I thought I would share the cake that my friend and I made. I think that those of you who are familiar with internet memes will appreciate it. The colours aren't as vibrant as we hoped (damn those natural food colourings!) but it tastes so good!

    i might bake a chocolate cake today, there's loads of eggs in my cupboard along with cooking chocolate, flour, sugar etc

    Here's mine and CJ's Easter bunny cake :hare: He is almond flavour with an angel icing coating with dessicated coconut sprinkled on top for furr In between the layers is butter icing :yep: YUM!
