Re: The TSR Easter cooking & baking competition!Apparently not! Although weren't the Christmas ones all Christmas themed? I don't remember already!(Original post by Kate.)
...so I'm guessing we don't actually have to make Easter-themed stuff? It's not really much of an Easter competition then is it, haha.
I'm baking on Wednesday so I'll think of something a bit interesting and take photos to enter if I get time

Re: The TSR Easter cooking & baking competition!
I thought entries needed to be dated and usernamed? Otherwise you could just submit stuff from any time. Someone clarify please

Entries so far are awesome. I want a creme egg cupcake
they're my winner so far. and they're easter themed which is what they should be imo

Re: The TSR Easter cooking & baking competition!Yeah, mine wasn't an entry - I just wanted to show people my cookies 'cause I was proud of them!(Original post by kinkajou)

I think things should probably be easter-themed, because otherwise there's no point in it being the 'easter baking competition' is there! I too would love a creme egg cupcake - look amaaazziingggg

Re: The TSR Easter cooking & baking competition!
Today I made honey and granola cupcakes - which look a bit naff but taste amazing (I would seriously recommend this recipe to anyone and everyone who wants to bake something really sweet and not too unhealthy, they're a little too sweet for me actually so next time I think I'll drop a bit of the sugar out) and aren't eastery in anyway so I won't enter them... BUT when I'm done I have my eye on baking some 'hot cross cupcakes' which I shall enter into this competition

Made these for an easter fayre in my town, six cupcakes in total using buttercream, fondant, and cream cheese icing.
.
I love baking so I'll make sure I enter all my future efforts!
These look really similar to the ones I made in a cupcake decorating class the other week! I had to do a double take! You didn't happen to go to a cupcake decorating class did you?

)

.Those look awesome!!.
