I don't recall that ever being reported as a terrorist attack in the name of Christianity; after reading up just now it does say he was trying to enforce his world view on cultural conservatism, Islamophobia etc.

We wouldn't march if we didn't think it'd help. You raise awareness and put pressure on the government and authorities to do something about and every time they don't people get angrier and the government stand to lose votes and you know how much they love votes.

When are people going to realise the threat Islam poses to the world? All these attacks, all these deaths and yet people still refuse to admit that Islam is a backwards, barbaric, hate-filled religion. Even worse, where is the outrage from the Muslim community?

Oh wait, there is none. When the IRA shot those 2 soldiers in Norther Ireland a few years ago there was a 10,000 strong vigil from Catholics and Protestants against it from people who don't want killings and murders in the name of their religion.

Why do Muslims on the other hand, flat out ignore Islamic terror attacks or, in many cases, even support it?

So the terrorists aren't killing people in the name of Islam they're killing people 'cuz they wanna get on the telly? Seems legit.

Islam does not pose a threat. It's the twisted people who decide to interpret the Qu'ran to fit around their own thoughts instead of keeping an open-mind. Trust me I know how biased the media can be but the EDL isn't gonna solve everyone's problems. My problem is that if they got rid of the terrorists and extremists then the moderates would be fine to live happily ever after or whatever but the government's too afraid to offend the muslim community that they aren't doing anything about the extremists so they're being left to pollute the minds of everyone else. Young people are as they say, very impressionable.

Actually, the vast majority of kids killed in Afghanistan HAVE been killed by Islamist extremists. They rule by fear, the best way to accomplish that is by blowing up innocents and that is what they do. I have a big interest in current warfare and have read many books which mention the attrocities commited by Islamic groups in the middle east targetting civilians. Just today a Shiite mother and her three children had their throats slit by a Sunni Muslim in a religiously motivated attack.

Civilian deaths caused by the Allied Forces are hugely different than terrorist attacks. They're regettable but, the Allied Forces ARE NOT deliberately seeking to kill children and innocents. Many of the deaths are caused by the terrorists taking the fight into civilian areas, using civilians as shields or blowing them up themselves. One example which is mentioned in a book I read where a suicide bomber blew himself up in the middle of a group of 8 year old school children just to try and blow up one American soldier.

The idiot who said "Blackwater will blow up civilians whaaa" is an idiot. PMC companies actually have more restrictions and legislation restricting what they can do than the actual armed forces. For example, they can fire back but can not engage and pursue and have to justify every bullet fired. So don't talk about what you don't know.
