Re: What type of person do you consider as a true friend?
Someone who you get on with and can have a laugh with, who is loyal and always there for you, who will stand by you no matter what happens - I try to be this as much as I can to everyone I see as my friends but sometimes it doesn't feel reciprocated

Re: What type of person do you consider as a true friend?
My best friend doesn't care what anyone thinks, is uninterested enough to not tell anyone what you say privately, never gets angry, is hilarious, a risk-taker and great to talk to.
Those make up the perfect qualities in my opinion. I have other friends which match several of these but always lack in some regard such as audacity or is very introverted
Edit; the person above me said it perfectly and succintly. -
Re: What type of person do you consider as a true friend?
"Friendship is a priceless gift that cannot be bought nor sold.
But, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
For gold is cold and lifeless, it can neither see nor hear.
In time of trouble its powerless to cheer.
Gold has no ears to listen, no heart to understand.
It cannot bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand.
So, when you ask God for a gift, be thankful if He sends,
not pearls, diamonds, or riches but, the love of real true friends."

Re: What type of person do you consider as a true friend?Aww, I find most people aren't that loyal. I can only think of one friend who I think is loyal and has stood by be me and vice versa.(Original post by BeccaAnne94)

This poem sums it up better than I could. Good find, do you know anything more about it?
He recited it on his Parkinson interview which was where I first heard it.
