I'm having an audition Friday 6th April. I have paid nearly £300 in all hotel costs/ train/ suit. Wearing business suit going down on Thursday to Birmingham. Filled most of the application form out.
What time is your interview?! I have one on 6th April at Radisson Blu too! Might bump into you if your interviews at 10.15

Hi guys, just wondering, people keep saying that the first stage is a group stage, does this mean that u say the reasons why ur a suitable candidate in front of the other candidates?

    Thanks for any help

Yeah, (: You say it in front of other candidates, but there's honestly nothing to be worried about
    Good luck!

not strictly true, the first winner (arjun) had a place at oxford and intended to go there, but he didn't meet his offer. He still studied engineering somewhere else though
That's true, though I think there was more emphasis on bringing some kind of business idea this time round, whereas in the first series of junior apprentice there wasn't.

hehe, no worries! I was SO shy and worried, im not a very confident person hehe, but when you're there you realise how much you'd love to do it, and what an experience it would be, so just go for it (': Oh and a tip, speak about you as an indivdual, your best qualities, things that Lord Sugar would like about you, what makes you easy to work with, rather than a HUGE history about whatever buisness ideas you're involved in. Save that for the 1 on 1.

Good luck everyone that still has interviews to go!

Why would you apply if you're going to university? People who want to go to university don't win the apprentice, take that guy who made the final last time for example. He mentioned he wanted to study economics for the next 3 years and Alan Sugar immediately lost interest in him. Of course it's different if you're on the adult apprentice and you've already been to university, as then you're in a good position to set up a business, but the junior apprentice really isn't for people who want to go to university.

like the other person that said, that isn't true. And my plan was, because I want to study medicine, it's a long course and I want to run a business (to do with stationery) while I'm studying so that as soon as I graduate I have enough money saved up to set up my own practice rather than having to wait ages. I never went to my audition though, so that's not gonna happen...

You can mention it, yeah (': but don't waffle on about what your parents have done etc, sort of touch on it, and explain what qualities it's given you, if that makes sense?
