Re: Abercrombie
As a non-UK TSRer, here's my perspective:
- Probably middle class (not the British middle class which basically means you have a good to stratospheric income but aren't a Sir, the US middle class ie 40-120k USD a year family)
- Probably hasn't graduated from high school
- Not terribly original but with a decent sense of aesthetics
As soon as you leave school it's time to wear big boys clothes IMO, and I wouldn't rank A&F, American Eagle and co. as such. -
Re: Abercrombie
IN the UK it would mean you're pretty well off
Well thats what I think...when I could spend a tenner on a tshirt from say h and m newlook or primark, why would i spend twenty to thirty quid on it? Get me? Unless it was a present in which case its okay....
still its pretty overpriced here...as is hollister and superdry etc -
Re: AbercrombieWell off? A&F is 99% style clothing.(Original post by omnomnom1234)

Yeah I know they are kinda nice...but its still kinda expensive here.... -
Re: AbercrombieYou misunderstood me. It's the 99% of people who buy it, not the 1%.(Original post by omnomnom1234)
WEll off as in wealthy

Re: Abercrombie
I personally like it, because they have really nice basics. "A bit overpriced" is true - everywhere in Europe it is. That's why I prefer Hollister, they have pretty much the same collection. I think the stuff for boys at Abercrombie and Hollister is cooler than that for girls though :-(

And it depends on the colours you wear ... I'd only buy grey, white, navy, dark red at Abercrombie, I don't really like their colourful pieces ...
