OVER: General veggie soup. Often the mix of flavours don't go that well together and it's just an excuse to get rid of all the leftover veg. Think about what you're putting in the pot!

UNDER: Thick Pea Soup is divine when done properly. It's creamy, delicious and warms you up nicely and reminds me of mum's home cooking. :3

OVER and UNDER of: Tea flavours/drinks/varieties.

Over: iced tea, it can even really be called tea in my book!

Under: green tea, once you get used to the taste it's the nicest and healthiest!

OVER: Pepperoni. It just is, okay. I mean... I like pepperoni, but pools of orange oil sitting atop an otherwise delicious pizza? ;__; Cheap supermarket pepperoni pizza also tastes really nasty in my opinion too. Whenever I have just plain ol' pepperoni I usually find it's lacking something. A spicy meat feast which incorporates pepperoni however, is an entirely different story.

UNDER: Seaweed. Or BBQ. Can't make up my mind. I know that BBQ pizza is everywhere, but there is a reason :coma:

Over: the little Rip off yoghurt drinks like yakult. Good bacteria! Yeah yeah alright, bore off. Usually expensive for the size they are. No doubt we could get the health benefits from regular yoghurt.

Under: sweetened natural yoghurt with fruit or honey/syrup through it. BIG pots is always a food start. Feels virtuous, u can add all your favourite flavours. A blank canvas of yoghurt possibilities.

I just had a massive bowl of Greek natural yoghurt with apple, strawberries and grapes

OVER: Those tiny cracker things. Whenever I go to a party there are endless platters of tiny cracker things. They so dry.

UNDER: The humble hot dog, the sausage-type product what's full to the brim of mysterious meats. You're at a party, let your hair down, eat disgusting things without even thinking about it :moon:

(It's been so long since I've been to a party that I genuinely had to think about what food people even serve) :emo:

Steak bake: Don't get me wrong, they are nice, but I much prefer the Sausage and bean melt. It annoys me that they make a ton of steak bakes and only a few sausage and bean so that the latter are often sold out and I have to settle for the former.

I don't drink fizzy pop, but I'll cast my mind back to when I did.

OVER: Coke, It aint all that. And 40g of sugar in a drink? :hand: Gimme some cake tbh.

UNDER: Erm... Lilt is nice, and not very many people seem to drink it. And Pepsi. Pepsi is tastier than coke.

    OVERRATED: CARAMEL KIT KAT.
it's not even caramel; the chunky and senses ranges use some bizarre fudge crap. Yet people sing the praises. Why? Why man?? Kit kat is a big brand; why can't you afford proper caramel?!

    UNDERRATED: TUNNOCKS LOGS.
Everyone knows about dem caramel wafers. But the even awesomer caramel logs add a COCONUT COATING. Why are people neglecting such a sexy bisk??

Overrated: Chip shop chips. To me they're usually repulsive and far too soggy. By the time you get them home they tend to get all mushed up plus they're too fat and obviously greasy for my liking! Prefer my chips thinner.

Underrated: Sweet potato fries! Or 'parsnip fries'! Basically more adventurous things not involving mundane regular potatoes that can be just as tasty and amazing, and both of the aforementioned veg come out better oven baked in chip form I find. Oven baked potato chips are never the same as the fried counterpart.

I love Tunnocks Logs but haven't seen any in AGES. Like seriously, who sells them now?

OVER: All bran. It looks like rabbit food, and in fact, "healthy" cereal options are just silly. Gram for gram they're usually AROUND the same calories anyway. If a portion of cereal is advertised as lower, it's probably because the portion is SMALLER. Those sly marketers.

UNDER: Weetabix. well, I regard it as a healthy choice. I mean, it's just a bisk of wheat, right? And people add fruit etc to them. I feel rather virtuous and ready to roll after my Weetabix. I'VE ADDD MY WEETABIX.

OVER: CARAMEL MINIROLLS or CADBURY CARAMEL EGGS (like the cream eggs). 1. Caramel Minirolls are a waste of time. I like Minirolls, and I like caramel, but merge them together and I can hardly taste the caramel, nor is the creamy middle of the miniroll apparent. RUINED. 2. So, you're shaped like a cream egg, you're sold next to the cream eggs, yet you're just chocolate, filled with caramel. Basically a Dairy Milk Caramel shaped like an egg. So, you're just a marketing ploy out to make money due to you're novelty shape? I see. NEXT.

ID:	161257 Why does no-one buy these any more? I remember years of my childhood dominated by these for desserts; lid off, flip it, peel that silver tab, and slowly lift the pot. MAGIC. And look at that caramel drizzle down. Mmmm.

Damn, I spent wayyyy too long thinking about that one then

OVER: FINGERS. The mini packets. It's just a packet of fingers, but tiny and like double the price effectively. I'll just wait till I get home and open a real packet, that haven't shrunk in the wash.

UNDER: MINI CHOCOLATE HOB NOBS. Why get the other mini packets when these exist? Closely followed by Jaffa Cakes, because no one can be unhappy opening their lunch box to Jaffa goodness. FACT.

    Overrated: CREME CARAMEL.
It's pannacotta with caramel on it, whoopedy-doo. Sure, they're good, but so woefully unspectacular. Plus when you're eating from those ribbed pots/moulds when you're unable to turn them out (at work etc) YOU CAN NEVER GET AT THE CARAMEL BIT.

    UNDERRATED: CARAMEL UPSIDE DOWN CAKE.
The point of the upside-down cake is to keep the topping (bottom...ing?) separate from the perfectly baked sponge. And UD Cake is a bit 70s, so we forget to sing the praises of such a simply genius concept. When turned out, the caramel completely infuses the sponge whilst still remaining as a perfect top layer!!

Overrated and Underrated... JACKET POTATO FILLINGS?
Overrated: Cheesy Beans. This seems to have become the default in canteens and other outlets doing baked spuds. Having beans and potatoes is like having a side dish with a topping of side dish to me. I would actually prefer just cheese to cheesy beans since at least you can taste the former distinctly whereas putting cheese through the beans just makes them taste a bit creamier.

Underrated: Chilli and a dash of sour cream. This isn't that underrated as a dish per se but rather choosing a jacket to have with chilli seems less popular than going for rice. Chilli on a jacket potato seems like a decent full meal to me; with a bit of salad, it literally has everything you want.

Never heard of caramel upside down cake but my gran did make pineapple upside down cake a couple of times which was pretty godly. With a couple of glace cherries through it and some squirty cream or a teaspoon of carnation it is cake at its prime.

Over: cod. In batter. It's a dwindling fish anyway, so we should eat less. But I don't get why it's so expensive, it's not even that distinct in its flavour. I can give or take cod. Also, oysters. Don't charge me 100000000 pounds for a mouth of salt.

Under: I'd say scallops but they're getting more and more rated now so I'll say smoked cobbler. Delicious flavour, quite firm and substantial texture, pretty cheap!

Over: Dried fruit and nut mix. Yeah dried fruit is nice, but nuts aren't my thing. I'd much rather just have a handful of grapes than a small handful of raisins and nuts. I'm not sure how this craze started, but it's taken over by storm and is wildly overrated in my view.

Under: cucumber sticks and a bit of hoisin sauce to dip. Healthy and tasty. It's like a Chinese pancake but, not. Or Crab meat chunks and mint sauce in a bowl, filling and tasty. Try it!

I wish I could afford to have crab meat and mint sauce in a bowl as a snack Dani, I really do!

OVER: Lollipops. Alright, they're fun, they're something to do..but, what do they actually offer? They don't fill you up, don't offer any nutrition..they're just a passtime really.

UNDER: Mikado and Pocky sticks. It shocks me how many of my friends are like, what are they? It's not like Supermarkets don't sell Mikados. They're so addictive, tasty, love the varieties. And relatively guilt free.
