I'm going on holiday to Malia with 4 of my friends for 2 weeks in July. Just wondering if anyone's been before and could recommend a good amount of spending money to take? Only saved £170 and it's getting far too near...

are you going all inclusive, full board, half board, or self catering?

I went half board to Spain last year with my husband and 3 kids, for 10 days. We got through £500 spending money in total between us.

My mother, on the other hand, can easily spend that on her own. Her rule of thumb is always £50 per day, but then again she's a compulsive spendaholic.
