Hey so I've had my iPhone 3GS for about 2 years, only on an 18 month contract but I've still been using it. I think it broke and it wouldn't sync with my computer anymore, a few months ago. I managed to get my pictures and videos off it onto the computer but that's as far as it goes.

Anyway I got the recent update and of course it deleted all my apps. I've been re-downloading them onto my phone gradually, no problem. Then just now, I tried downloading an app I had a while ago, put in the correct password and it says my account has been disabled due to security reasons and needs resetting. I tried downloading it again, was extra careful with the password, but the same alert came up. Went onto iTunes on my laptop and tried to sign in but the same thing happened.

I don't want to reset my account. What if I have to pay for all my apps all over again? and I had at least £20 in the original account. And quite frankly it isn't giving me any explanation at all of why I would have to reset the account, I've NEVER put the password in wrong or anything.

Any help please?

It's not your account that gets reset, only your password. Your purchased apps and credit will still be retained.
