How about taking him for a day out somewhere? Depending on what you're able to spend, you could get him an experience day? I.e. a silverstone driving experience or something more suited to his taste? Gig tickets? Comedy show tickets? Oryou could make him a hamper of his favourite foods? A friend of mine made a hamper for her male friend and included rubber duckies because he likes baths
