Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney Weekendhi, please could I have your ticket of youre not using it?(Original post by DonBorat)
argh dunno what to do, im the only one who registered for this ticket of people i know -
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendThe tickets for this event take peoples photos and ID, unless you look identical to someone, it is pretty unlikely you will be able to buy a ticket. Sorry dude you'll have to sit this one out.(Original post by scout1984)
Hi, Do you still have the spare ticket? Is it for a boy? I will pay! -
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney Weekendi left it :\(Original post by scout1984)
hi, please could I have your ticket of youre not using it? -
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendIt's not as simple as just giving you a ticket. You have to have registered, and have them add you using your unique ID code thing. I don't think you can add a guest after the booking has gone through and your picture and address is on the ticket as well as a bar code so it can't be faked.(Original post by scout1984)

Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendYou're not the only one =[(Original post by Kevmeister)
Just noticed that Florence and the Machine have switched to the Sunday now - one of the reasons we went for Sat tix was to see them.
A tad pissed off, tbh. -
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendI think it could be anyone who is doing Capital's Summertime Ball?(Original post by MissRiah12345)
Anyone have any ideas on who the special guest is? Or, when they will let us know who it is? Ekk so excited! Something to look forward to after exam!!
So I think Coldplay, Justin Bieber or someone?
I hope Coldplay.
-
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendAhhh yes that is a good, well thought out idea(Original post by southend1112)

Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendThanks for the information!! That's very kind of you!!(Original post by southend1112)
It starts at 1pm, but gates open at 10am-ish, allow a lot of time though cause of security checks... Ends at 10:30pm on Sunday for your information

Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendKasabian and Rita Ora have been announced for Saturday.. I'm pretty jealous about both, mainly Kasabian!(Original post by Mo-Amin)
Nas has been added to the line-up. He'll headline the 1XTRA Stage.
On Sunday, FFS.
Why are they going out their way to make Saturday worse and worse?
-
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney WeekendSwap? Haha I wish... Kasabian are cool but I didn't like their most recent album so yeah. Rita Ora just seems like more shrapnel from the grenade that is pop music.(Original post by IngensPolyspaston)
Kasabian and Rita Ora have been announced for Saturday.. I'm pretty jealous about both, mainly Kasabian!
I mean I liked her vocals on Hot Right Now but RIP's a dreadful tune... Ah well, plenty of good music both days tbh - plus at least we managed to get tickets! -
Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney Weekend
Rita Ora is good, but she doesn't have any amazing hits which will make you want to change days or anything?
In my opinion Sunday always looked better?
Has Will.I.am ever done a tour without the B.E.P? Same goes for Dappy, and Jack White without his sister? I'm in no way saying they're bad live or anything!
Leona Lewis hasn't done anything for a while
The top 5 artists are good though.
But then you look at Sunday and they're all established and known to be good live!
Both days are very good for free! And we should all be very grateful that we live in such a place to get this luxury for free! Enjoy what you have!

Re: BBC - Radio 1 Hackney Weekend
At first I was unsure over what day to opt for, tbh there is imo great artists on both days - as Southend says, its free anyway so who are we to complain?
I would be happy going to either day plus as this is my first concert I'm satisfied with 1 band/artist I listen to!
Just seen they have put the artists into their stages now.. and I must say, being a big fan of dance music - Saturday has an amazing Dance Arena!Last edited by IngensPolyspaston; 16-05-2012 at 18:13.
