Its for this precise reason why decision is not awesome! :unimpressed:
It's awesome on it's own merits

    Spoiler:

And it's a lot easier than the proper maths modules :cookie:

I found D1 harder than the other AS modules. Fairly sure I messed up the linear programming question in my exam.

Its the bastard child of arithmetic and dot-to-dot.

Well it doesn't really matter how many modules you sit, it's about what you get in them
WOW you done S2 in Jan? That's so early! It won't matter towards your A* if you do better than that in the other 3 A2 Further Maths modules.
Well in theory yh, but in practice I doubt it'll work out as I'll be doing STEP as well!
Course I do; it's not even maths!
    Yeah that's very true!
Yeah, I clearly wasn't as ready as I thought I was :L... I only found that out the day before I was meant to sit a retake :L (thank god).
Yeah same! :/ I'm not looking forward to STEP at all :'( attempting STEP 1 at the moment D: it's so stressful
You're one strange dude! I hate it so much

Hmm I guess it's just me then :/

I'm so good at making silly mistakes in the other modules, but in this one they were fairly easy to avoid, after doing like 15 past papers mind you!

Hold on I don't get you; so you retook S2 in jan? :/ So you did it in year 11 once already?
I've sorta given up on STEP I for the time being, and instead started looking at that siklos booklet as it's sort of a difficulty in between hard A-Level questions and easy STEP questions
Why thank you for the compliment It's slightly more of a creative module, which I like a lot

The annoying thing is, I did all of the available past papers for each exam (all subjects), and yet I somehow still managed to mess up the last question of D1, C4 and Physics 2 :'(

Haha I feel for you. That stinks.
What maths modules have you done/ are gonna do?

I messed up the 6 marker on my physics, which was irritating. I used to have nightmares (and still do) about this easy C3 question I messed up in Jan!

    C1-4, FP1-3, D1, D2, M1, M2, S1, S2.
Though I've been asking about doing FP4/M3 instead of D2.

They are exactly the same modules that I plan to do!
We don't have FP4 in OCR

I'm doing FP3 and D2 on my syllabus. So I have one extra module as a fallback. Are you on aqa?

I'm self - teaching D2 for this reason, I've only just started, how are you finding it (if you've started)

I start D2 in January. I have started FP3 though, which is interesting.

Thank you for this...However, if i say, do do best in the 3 sciences, is that all Cambridge will consider? Or is it Cambridge who decides on the 3 most relevant A-Levels (in which case probably maths bio and chem) and then goes from there? SO is it my 3 best scoring A-Levels they look at, or their 3 most relevant? Thank you muchly.
3 most relevant, but this is an odd case as both physics and maths are probably equally relevant so they will probably consider both to an extent.

    The website says:

    Ranking

Three AS/A2 UMS averages will be generated and presented in three adjacent columns: the average of the best three subjects; the average of the best four subjects; for applicants for science courses, the average across any science subjects taken (where for this purpose the science subjects are Biology, Chemistry, Maths [including Further Maths] and Physics).

Nonono :L I was meant to retake it this June because of what I got in January. But I didn't in the end because I found out it is still possible to get an A* with 72.
Ah that's what I should do too actually :s Because STEP I is killing me :L haha
ahaha good one ... Hm see I just can't stand it because it's creative based :l... But that's interesting, you're interesting ^_^

Touch wood, but really really well. My last two are S2 and M2, and I really like M2, and I've worked hard on S2 so hopefully I'll do well on those too.
