Re: Campus Accommodation at Warwick
I was wondering the same thing. Is it definitely an online application - as in they don't send us packs or something?
Also, can we make this thread into a thoughts and discussions about Warwick accommodation 2012/2013.
I want to know what other people are thinking of applying for.
I'm stuck because everyone says Rootes is so much fun, but kitchen quality is not so great and people steal your food and there are fire alarms an awful lot. BUT it's 39 weeks let.
I like Arthur Vick or Jack Martin, which are a bit more pricey but somewhat nicer and less packed up BUT 30 weeks let
I definitely think I want to go for a halls residence over apartments...but can I be persuaded otherwise? -
Re: Campus Accommodation at WarwickI have no idea where to apply really. I know everyone says that about rootes, but to be honest, I think you're gonna have fun anywhere you go and there are pros and cons to everywhere(Original post by Zulliekinz)

When I went on the open day I had a look round Jack Martin and it was soooo nice though. The kitchens were massive and they had baths in their ensuites. I wasn't even gonna go for ensuite but now i'm tempted haha. June is such a long time before being able to apply! I want to now!

That page has lied in the past three years (at least!)(Original post by Tsunami2011)
You actually apply sometime in April..
In the past it has opened in late April and twice in mid May. But you have until 31 July to apply anyway.
If you are such, have you had a look at the guide in the Warwick Accommodation Thread ? -
Re: Campus Accommodation at WarwickSee i really like Jack Martin...but its also the fact that thats 30 weeks and Rootes is 39. My sister is at oxford with a 30 week rent and she advised me to go for 39...apparently packing up is such a hassel....(Original post by palicearker)

Re: Campus Accommodation at WarwickYeah that's true, but it depends what your budget is I suppose, and how easy it is to get home with all your stuff! I'm between going for 30 weeks with ensuite or 39 without because it works out about the same price.(Original post by Zulliekinz)
