So, i've been rejected from the primary education courses but still wish to persue a career in primary teaching.

I'm left with the option of doing a 'Childhood studies' degree and then a PGCE

or
Combine honours degree then a PGCE

or an english language degree and then PGCE


what is the best route?? am so confused



Oh and just to say the 'Childhood studies' also carries a EYPS Qualification.

Please can anyone help me???

I would say do a degree which you are going to enjoy and find exciting for 3 years, and then do the pgce.

Perhaps combine your degree choice with child hood studies.
