therefore v=I/(nAq)

A=pi(r squared) = pi(diameter/2)squared = pi x (0.32 x 10 to the -3/2) squared
=8.04 x 10 to the -8

so v=2.4/(nAq) - just substitue
=2.195 x 10 to the -3 ms-1 = 2.2 mms-1

How did you get "=2.195 x 10 to the -3 ms-1 = 2.2 mms-1"

oh the extra m in 'mms-1' is the milli..so its 2.2 millimetre per sec
but this is pretty fast though for an electron :smile:
