    Could go to court and plead guilty with special consideration not to endorse. Meaning your mum would get a fine but probably depending on the bench no points.

    I would take the course, best option.

    Well just a quick update. My mum rang up the police and they told her to write a letter with supporting evidence and send it all back with the form they sent us and go from there. Will update as things happen.

    I definatly think you have a case!

    My mum was having a diabetic hypo whilst in the car and we had to go to the shop quickly to ger her some enrgy stuff, i was caught speeding but i disputed it and won.

    Wow! What procedure did you go through? What did you have to do exactly? Sorry if this is distressing in anyway it would just be useful for my mum to know

    This would be a fantastic in the dailymail.

    (with a picture of him lying in hospital)

    Phone up dailymail could make a few £, also send a letter back to who ever sent you the fine.
