I've applied to the Surrey Nuffield coordinator ,still waiting to see if I have a placement. Has anyone else applied for a bursary and been accepted, If so what will you be doing?

I did a Physics one last year and it was on "Ion Optics in Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry" in Manchester, and it lasted 4 weeks.
The unis really really loved it so I hope you get the place, its great to talk about!

Wow that sounds clever, and so exciting . Thankyou I really hope so too but we'll see, I'm applying to uni this sept and its come round way to quickly I'm just starting to get my act together getting as much work experience as I can

Depends as each region has different deadlines, most of them are coming to an end so try and send it ASAP. Here's the website with the deadlines...

Aww same kind of, not that I had any other plans anyway. I still haven't heard yet , nothing apart from that they received my application, I had to email them to hear that aswell . Oh well, I hope you get it too :

Uhh not really, I just put biological research and for where I put a question mark lol , cos I didn't know of anywhere that I could go, soo hopefully it'll be ok

I contacted the Nuffield co-ordinator for Norfolk and she said she'll extend the time for which the forms have to be sent off till the end of April
