    Re: Size 8 girls...
    This thread is almost useless.

I'm a size 14-16 depending on store I visit and I don't really eat that much either.

Typical breakfast: coffee or tea + toast or cereal or muller rice or porridge
Typical lunch: homemade soup or BLT on lazy days or salad & lean meat/tinned fish
Typical snacks: coffee mid morning with apple, apple or two sticks of kit kat mid afternoon
Typical dinner: 2 wraps of fajita, homemade veg curry & roti OR rice, pesto pasta, scrambled egg on toast, omlette & salad, fish & salad & veg. My portion sizes aren't too excessive either.

I do have a dessert on occassion like yday I had a small slice of bday cake. Or I'll have a muller rice or an Angel Delight.

My exercise however is really poor because I've been struggling with asthma recently so stairs and even walking gets me breathless. Every day this week I've walked to the roof of the building I work in which is 7 flights of stairs so I can sunbathe. :mmm: and I walk home from the Tube station everyday for 30-40 mins up & down hill. I walk up escalators all day and sprint up stairs when my body allows me.

Anyway: every body here is different. Some size 8s can snack on Burger King all day and not go out of their way to exercise; some girls do regular jogging and eat mega healthy and some girls eat ok, do a moderate amount of exercise and still stay big, like me. I do have strong calves though from all the hiking, stair climbing I force my lungs to endure though.

14-16? :lolwut: If I were that size, I would starve myself and exercise for prolonged hours per day.

Rude? size 14 is actually the perfect size for the average woman. starving yourself is only making your insides ugly. it's amazing how many vain ppl out there would choose "beauty" over their own health. eurgh. - this is coming from someone who is a size 8 by the way.. and no i do not starve myself or exercise exessively because i actually want my organs to work properly.

Size 14? Perfect? Think of as many beautiful celebrities as you can. Are they size 14?

(Only Hendricks is the exception that is "plus-sized".

Honestly, I don't even know why size 32 clothes exist.

Research DEFINITELY done by a woman, if not, a fat woman. A man would never publish that.
...and you call yourself academic? seriously.

    You are very ignorant.
Size 14 is completely normal and healthy.

I eat whatever the **** I want, go jogging or to the gym whenever I feel like it. Although if I was any bigger than a size eight it wouldn't be very healthy as I'm tiny in height anyway.

by perfect i mean it is the size a healthy woman should look like. Dawn French is incredibly pretty but that's going a bit off topic :/ celebrities arent exactly a good example because they do not portray the average person. They have personal trainers etc to look a certain way because they are in the media but look at how many celebrities get slated for starving themselves. There's no point debating this with someone like you, you're clearly close-minded.

Lol. Little difficult when you aren't vain, enjoy cooking/enjoying food and have a life. Besides I'm 5ft 10 and reasonably fit so don't wobble like a beached whale.

    Kthxbai.

Oh and aren't you the girl who can't get a bf? I have no problem in this area.

I eat what I want and do the occasional bit of exercise for enjoyment purposes rather than health. I eat when I am hungry and stop when I'm full.

That is because you only notice the girls you aspire to be like. If you REALLY looked around you'd see a lot of different shapes and sizes. You have some real cognitive biases don't you?

With a rude attitude like that, it's no wonder you mope around this forum feeling sorry for yourself.

It's about your body type. I was size 8 my whole life and it was NOT nice. I ate a lot and yet I was always weak/anemic. I have no idea what my body did with the energy. I'm still slightly weaker than the average female but not nearly as anemic as I was before, and I'm now a size 10.

OP, being a size 8 means doesn't mean much other than the label on clothes says size 8. It tells one nothing about body composition or fitness.
