How long do you think it should take?

Powerlifters get almost nothing lol. When Eric Spotto was given the opportunity to break the bench press record the prize money really low.
    160 + 150 + 90 = 400

Behind for Bench but squat and dead look okay. 1 to 2 years should do it fine.

I'm fairly sure this all came from saying lifting is more than a hobby for most of us here. Which is true. Not debating whether there are other sports that require more/less dedication.
Well, you kind of did say this:

What other sport that you just have as a hobby do you care about as much as lifting?

Lifting requires so much more from you.

I'm not gonna argue that they weren't the better team but number of passes is pretty irrelevant. Just like the number of shots they had was over three times as many as us. Doesn't really mean anything though cos nearly all were from 20 yards or more and didn't test Hart.

But anyway we didn't have a good team so I wouldn't have expected any more than this anyway.
True, goals win games, not passes. But it was a pretty poor show. Whenever we did get the ball we were so tired from chasing it around all match we lost it straight away. So frustrating to watch as a fan. Yeah, I'm not gutted at all, didn't expect anything from this team.

They did not deserve to win at all. Italy played very well and if Balotelli didn't suck so much it could have been like 3-0.

England was rather poor. I was worried when Walcott came on; he isn't especially good but he is fast whereas Italy have older/slower players (especially at 80+ mins) but he had no impact.

was gutted at the match last night - England just looked lazy to me. Just SO disappointing to watch.

Every time England got the ball I was worried of some spark of magic and then I realised Rooney has it and 2 seconds later he lost it.

England seemed more tired than Italy which is pathetic considering how much older the Italian squad is.

I'd just consider it a hobby. Granted I take care with my diet but so do a lot of people who like to 'live healthily' so I don't think that is really a big consideration.

4 times a week at the gym for an hour or so is nothing really. Most people spend 5 times mindlessly watching TV each week.
    True, 'dat.

It both infuriates and amuses me when people say that I'm obsessed with the gym and working out; er, 4 times for an hour or so each time, maybe slightly more so round up to 5hrs per week. 5 hours, that's less than a third of one waking day (out of 7!) and probably less than some fatties spend watching soaps. Probably just a bit of jealousy that I get off my arse in an attempt to look half decent and not like ****.

Yea I'm wondering if being explosive (therefore having more fast twitch muscles??) is the key to greatness.

Except the time he created literally our only clear cut chance of the game.

This Rooney-was-**** narrative is really dumb. For 20 minutes Rooney was one of the least bad players on the pitch. For 100 minutes the entire England team sucked. Why is everyone trying to be smart by acting like Rooney lost it for us?

To an extent. I don't think many people want to/can squat heavy every day for 3 years, especially from age 16-17...... I wasn't even aware of lifting till 19 lol.

You're joking? So many were saying he is amazing and gonna score 59 goals a game and all of that...

He was okay but, no, he isn't that good.

I'm more making fun of how worried I was whenever they got the ball but then they lose it within seconds. Surprised really...
