How can you write a new book when all you've done to your program is add some singles and triples?

Same way you can write five separate articles about how any idiot can get a pump doing bicep curls but it takes a real man to get a pump doing shrugs and neck harness?

The joke is that Jim Wendler does both of those things and his fanboys lap it up because that's what fanboys do. It wasn't my most subtle effort.

    o i c

AB i dont really watch TV, in fact I'd say not all. People talk alot about certain adverts and tv programs, I can honestly say I never know what they're talking about. Only tv series I am actually familiar with is breaking bad and walking dead, but I just torrent them

I'll have you know I do read, I used to read a whole once per week, every week when the News Of The World still existed

[QUOTE=cowsforsale;38895606]Sweet find. Keifer (sp? - guy behind carb backloading sounds like a broscientist). I think I heard his e-book cost 60 bucks or something.

Just out of interest, how do you play it? I've downloaded it but I've no idea what to use to play an .ogg file.

I just clicked on the play button. Don't know what you have to download. $60 is a joke.

In another news Luimarco got trolled hardcore by Eric Kanevsky or whatever his name is. Eric posted up some fake profile using his m8 as a picture worshiping Lui and asking for advice and Lui made a response video lol.

    Myo-reps = rest-pause then.

Everything is there to make money out of it. Can't blame Jim Wendler - he is making money from people.

But, lettuce be real, he did it because all of us have torrented it instead of buying. Thus, what do you expect? He is gonna have to release more **** to make SOME money...

this week has been pretty crazy. Looks like I'm going to go into a partnership and launch a website which we both think will be very successful, that's all I'm saying

Is there any point in doing forced reps ?
    Any success stories ?

Yeah I know this guy whose max bench was 90, and he kept putting 100 on the bar and failed multiple times, but kept trying. One day he finally benched 100. He's been training like this for a while and benches 120 now.

I see guys in the gym always doing this. If the ROM is crap or you need lots of assistance then what's the point? This one guy a couple of days ago was doing really heavy dumbell shoulder presses and his ROM was about 3 inches. He had a big crowd around him. Fantastic ego training. Maybe it works, I'm not knowledgeable in these things, but it sure looked stupid.

I ****ing hate **** like this in the gym. Unless you're on gear or are pro-bodybuilder size, **** off with the assisted reps and beyond-failure training. If you can't lift it yourself, don't lift it.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...assisted curls in the squat rack off the shoulders of Orion. I watched a 3-man bench press in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die. "

    I'm less against it.

I think reps that let you go beyond failure are a good idea to throw here and there. Sometimes just for a mental challenge. But, yes, a lot of people do this for every single set, every single day and that's when it's just stupid.

Agree with Michael. Just not every session! I'd probably do them maybe once a month or so?

My max bench is 120 x 1 but i've done negatives with 130 before, just getting used to holding a weight bigger than my max. It means when I go for 130 x 1 for a proper rep i'll have the confidence of already holding it and CNS will be slightly better prepared.

BM, GQ & khanage - thanks for replies. Will do a bit of research and practice stay home before looking like a douche in the gym again!
No worries in looking like a douche! Everyone begins somewhere, just give it a go. I learned with a plastic pipe which weighed about 0.5kg lol.

Just keep with it and you'll be fine in no time, stretch and warm up A LOT before. Heavily based on flexibility.
