I have that but I'd like to thing I've made some good muscle gains elsewhere too.

Meh, it is rather boring though. I think if you add in assistance work early on then it's decent but still. I'm pleased that was my start though; it's good in getting you to focus on the main movements which matter and getting the form down.

In the end, even if you go to bodybuilding the form of those 3 lifts is key. Not exactly difficult to do tricep pushdowns correctly.

    Have you used 2.5kg increments?

    umm yeah?

i'm eating 3300 calories a day and gaining weight pretty steadily, atm i'm squatting 3x5 on mon/friday with 2.5kg increases..... it's getting fairly hard i reckon i'll stall at 120-125. Gonna start loading creatine upping cals a little more and drinking caffeine to squeeze a little more out.

That's fine then. Just bear in mind that it will take a while before the creatine starts to take effect.

last time i took creatine it had no effect, well maybe it was due to the fact some days i'd forget to take it.

on ss, is it okay to push to failure as in go for a rep but fail it? got 5,5,4 last session but didn't attempt 5th rep ;(

All time best 92.5kg for 1, and 80kg for 5x3, but currently max is probably 85.

Is this *******s or what? Obviously it makes great athletes that kind of training but do they pack on muscle because they're great athletes with great nutrition or does this kinda thing do a lot for hypertrophy?

You'll put mass on if you eat a lot and do a ****load of squats and pulls. I just doubt that it'll be the look you want. If you want to look like as bodybuilder (or a smaller version like a fitness model) train like one.
