Religion as a coping mechanism
Hey guys,
So there's well established evidence that Religious tendencies lead to longevity, less heart disease, lower blood pressure and stress levels, what have you, but this has mostly been found in the older population...
I'm doing my dissertation on whether this Religious coping/ less stress levels link can be found in the university population.
So if you could please just take a few minutes to take part in this, I'm really struggling to get the last thirty participants!!

Thanks for your time

Re: Religion as a coping mechanismYeah I know, that's one of the faults of the Religious coping scale, I wanted to create my own to be more inclusive but then there's the problem of validity and stuff... which sucks! But thank you for completing it!(Original post by In2deep)
Done
Unfortunately, it was very much aimed at Christians, some questions were nonsensical to me and I'm a Muslim, I wonder how Hindus, Sikhs etc felt about it

Re: Religion as a coping mechanismOkay well I'm sorry to hear! I really wanted to make my own Religious coping scale but my dissertation tutor said that it would have low internal validity and stuff because there's no test-retest and it's not established and blahblahblah!(Original post by longman240)
I started mine but couldn't complete due to this reason, I just felt I'd be giving a skewed perception, sorry
