Anyone else trying to gain flexibility
Since im not at uni for a month im finding it hard to be get motivated to stretch so was wondering i any fellow TSRers were on a similar quest to me?

    Current flexibility:
    Few inches off splits
    Crappy heal stretch
Almost got a bow and arrow
    'dorito' scorpion

    Goal by next month:
    Splits on right leg
    Better heal stretch
    Possible bow and Arrow
    Higher scorp

    Stretching routine:
    Once a day
    Straddle/ herkey/ pike stretches
sit i splits for a few minutes
    stretch my back

    So anyone joining me?

What are you chasing this level of flexibility for exactly? Gymnastics?

I'd love to gain flexibility but I'm not even close to being able to do the splits. I have lots of guy friends and no girlfriends so all I end up training on is improving arm strength by doing pull-ups

Fair. I wouldn't think TSR is the best source of
motivation in these kinds of things! I'm still trying to get enough hamstring flexibility to touch my toes with a flat back

I'm a guy trying to get more flexible, does anyone know a list of useful stretches to do while working towards splits? Maybe I'll pick one up if I'm missing something.

    Thanks

My dance teacher used to make us pit ou legs flat up against a wall with our backs flat on the ground, then drop our legs and let them go as far down as possible. As you stay in that position your legs are able to move a little bit further down the wall. About 5 minutes a day is good for anyone wanting to be able to do the splits.

I would like the ability to kick two people in the jaw simultaneously like the people in your youtube video can.

Yeah I actually am training to get more flexible because I kept getting injured in the gym.

I used the stretches and methods on this:-
