So, it's my 18th in a few months and I still have no idea what sort of thing to wear. I'm certainly not stick thin, so I don't want tight dresses, but do you have any ideas (and links/pictures) where possible of dress ideas that would be suitable for going out in? Any ideas would be good-I'm short too, so nothing that makes me look even shorter!!

    Thank you in advance

    Oh, happy birthday! aha.

I think this dress is really nice and very flattering:

It just goes in a the waist and then flips out I think you could really dress it up. But you might want something a bit more glamorous!

Something like this is a bit more glammy from Topshop

And this is something that isn't tight and loose fitting

It depends on what you like to wear really and your price range Hope I helped a bit...

I'd probably go for the third one

That's really freaky-I was looking at that one too and really liking it. Never heard of the first brand, but I'll be checking that out. Thank you

Ohhh i love the second one! I wish i could wear it buttt im a 32F and can't find a backless bra anywhere! I love the third one too! Deffo getting it in white when my loan comes in!

    Anyway, heres my suggestions

    http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/d...ress_254888409

    http://www.missguided.co.uk/wenda-pl...r-over-dress-3

http://www.missguided.co.uk/jadin-fi...leeve-dress-28 .... I love this because it will really make all the right curves stand out, whilst hiding a belly and arms (which is something i always want to hide!)

Here there is a suggestion: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=120066682276
I've never tried it so I don't know if it actually works. Plus it's in spanish but I'm sure from the pictures you can guess how to do it.

There's quite a few other nice ones on Lipsy, worth a look!

    Other places you could look:
-Zara, better to look in store imo
    -French Connection
    -Miss Selfridge

she basically cuts off the bit from the back and she sews up the straps to the cups/to this semicircular material inside the bra (don't know how you call it in english :| )
