Thank you! I hope all is well for you this Easter season
Thanks! All is fine so far. I usually get very ill this time of year but I went for emergency confession this morning and all sanity and peace has been restored

How has your Easter season been so far?

    How are you?

    I'm alive...

Easter Course has taken all strength out of me. A bit too hard of a piece to munch for me this was now that I look at it. On Tuesday my immune system collapsed due to stress and I'm having my 4th day in bed. :/ Half the course dead, "yay".

Feeling sad I haven't been that able to participate on today's sessions as I've been making them and have been responsible of the day with Claire & Istvan. Glad I made clear session outlines for today so that they had no problem setting up the place in the morning.

I was completely fine yesterday morning though, but we had a full day excursion to Kiev yesterday... utter hell. :/ Had no idea it was going to be so hot, pretty much everyone were overdressed, I become dehydrated pretty quickly so... Well, I'll put it in a spoiler.
    Spoiler:
    Show
I decorated the streets of Kiev with my vomit. Plus my shoes and trousers.

I was able to eat traditional Ukrainian borsch soup, which is my one of my favourite soups, in the evening. Had to take a nap on the floor of the restaurant, I was so exhausted haha.

The participants had a 2 hour silence in the morning with the Faith Walk, thanks for everyone who helped me with that. One of the things was to reflect on our sins and then put a nail on the cross - we're painting the cross tonight with all the nails on it and put it on display somewhere.
:console: poor you! All sounds very stressful, hope you are feeling better soon though! :hugs:

That's awesome! I'm getting the symptoms of conjunctivitis as I normally do at this time of year, so I've got my eye drops ready and have closed the windows. I also have a painful fungal infection in my foot but it should clear up soon enough. I've also been very concerned about my exams next month and felt completely helpless about it, but just in time my friend showed me a fantastic Motivational Speaker and it has helped to bring up my mood.

Along with moderate revision and regular prayers, it's helped to make me feel better. I'll be going to Church on Sunday as well to rejoice on the day Christ rose again

You poor thing about the infections. Will pray for your healing and hope you're not in too much pain or anything! Will pray about your exams too (and everyone else's, obviously!). That's great about your friend helping to cheer you up. Amazing how some friends know just when to get in contact and what to do at a certain time, isn't it?

My memory verse on camp seems very relevant today (most of you have seen it on FB but shall post here anyway)

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us ~ Romans 5:8

What amazing love we have that God sees how useless we are and He still chooses to save us then use us for His glory. Just wow.

I love it when I've just got home and THEN it starts raining. I just feel amazing, but then again, I feel great when I get to the bus stop just in time for my bus too XD I'm so easily pleased. But it is lovely when the heating's on on a cold day, but then you underestimate the temperature outside your home's walls! Back in the Caribbean, where I'm from, it rains every 10 minutes, literally. A teeny bit annoying when you just want to go to a shop down the road and before you leave there seems to be a thunderstorm of sorts. All weather is good weather though, according to my mum!

Christianlady, I'm intrigued to know what denomination you are. Care to share?

Also, do feel free to join us over on the TSR Christian Soc (X Soc)
    Hello The Lonely Goatherd,

I'm interdenominational. I believe all Christians are brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter what their denomination/group, including Catholics and Protestants and Orthodox and Messianic Jews/Gentiles.

I am curious about your screenname. Are you lonely? I hope not!

Thanks for the invitation and your kindness.

I have to go now to get ready for church! Have a wonderful Easter weekend!!!

    Peace and God bless you

I don't think they've been that deprived to be honest, I haven't really had anything worth adding!
