Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIIThis is going to sound really minor but I was at gig tonight (AND IT WAS AMAZING apart from I'm pretty sure I won't be able to walk for days) and I was worried as realised last train was just pre-midnight, a half hour tube journey away. The tube station is 10 mins from Wembley Arena (when there's the crush of people) plus it's tricky to get on tubes just post gig. The gig was due to finish at 11 which was the time I would have to leave. I didn't want to leave gig early and was worried the encore was going to be post 11 or that even if I left at 11 I wouldn't make it. So I sent up a little prayer in the middle of the gig and God totally answered. Not only did the gig finish at 11 on the dot but I made it to the train with 5 minutes to spare and had a lovely chat with two of the guys who'd been at the gig on the tube and they decided they would be my escorts and make sure I got to the train okay. So yeah, God cares enough about my love for Frank Turner to make all okay

Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIIEggbutter is rather calorific but really tasty. Not to everyone though, some people (like my own sister) think it tastes horrific.(Original post by Lantana)
What do they have in the middle of them? Eggbutter sounds wonderfully calorific
You can put different stuff between the dough, the most common being rice porridge. The other things are potato puree and rice porridge mixed with carrot puree. All of them taste like heaven.
My cold is getting worse, woke up today with an awful pounding headache, blocked nose and a dry mouth. I really can't be ill now, I have responsibilities to do in the following week and I need to have full energy for those things. :/ Damned be you, oh scouts. -

Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark III
Well, that's my second application form filled out (mostly). Hopefully i'll get an audition at Stageworks AND the local college, then even if I don't get into Stageworks, i'll have at least had the audition experience from it, which'll hopefully make me more confident in the future.

Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIIYou know you want some sweet Karelian cuisine loving from me.(Original post by tasha96)
Oh boy that looks good.

You know you dont mean that.

You all do.
Right now it's really hard coping with the scouts, I went away for 2,5 weeks thinking that everything was fine but apparently I'm loaded with a ton of s**t to do. I really want to say no and do absolutely nothing in the scouts anymore for this year, I'm so fed up with our troop's actions. I just can't handle all this but I hate leaving others in trouble! Absolutely love the teens and kids I'm leading but everything else is just driving me insane.
Thank you
Here, have some hot tea to sooth your throat.
I'm starting to taste blood in my mouth, that's how much I've been coughing. Not cool. D:

I've been too busy to keep up with people, how have you been for the past 2-3 weeks? Praying for a good outcome. I always found auditions very scary, but then again I also found that acting wasn't the thing I wanted to do in my life.
So many colours!
Makes my head spin, maybe I should stop wearing all my gloomy dark clothes and take out my springwear. :P

Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIII'm ok thank you, apart from the fact that I haven't talked to ANYONE from school for the whole two week holiday.

I've been on holiday for the past couple of weeks, so i've been just relaxing. How've you been?

That's not necessarily a bad thing though, is it, given they've been rather crappy friends recently?
-
Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIII know, but not even the people that i'm still friends with. I've talked to two people from school today, one of whom is like a sister to me, and the other is my best guy friend so considering I talk to them every day anyway, that's not saying much.(Original post by The_Lonely_Goatherd)

Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIIAw, glad he had a brilliant time!(Original post by iwantcurlyhairtoo)
My little bro got back from Lourdes today, he loved every minute. He's brought everyone a little souvenir (I got a pen
).
Also found out today that my cousin is having a baby!

Ooooh, that's VERY exciting! We love babies in this Soc

Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIII always forget you folk get a long holiday around Easter time - in Finland it's only from Good Friday to Easter Monday. Everything's shut down on Friday, Sunday and Monday though unlike in the UK... it was really odd going to the shop to get me some food on Easter Sunday.(Original post by Quornslice)
I've been on holiday for the past couple of weeks, so i've been just relaxing. How've you been?

How did you spend your holiday, anything fancy?
Before the Easter week I was in London which was just pure amazing even though I got some blisters on my feet.
Apart from that I've been just ill, ill, ill! I think you may have read my post about my rather sick adventures in Ukraine. When I landed in Scotland I got migraine and now that I'm back in Finland I've got the cold. But meh, at least I got a 4 DVD box of Spongebob movies to enjoy (only £12!
) and tomorrow I'm going to watch IT Crowd series 3 with my best friend. Also got to spend good times with my boyfriend last week, we had a romantic dinner at KFC.
All the teens looking at us was purely priceless.
To everyone:
I'm feeling really, really troubled right now.
My paternal grandfather (not the one that lost his finger) has gotten worse and worse in the past year. He hasn't remembered who I am for about 10 months. The reason I feel troubled is that I'm in no way bothered about that. I don't care.
He hasn't been the nicest old man to be honest. My father's childhood was rather miserable - that man was (and still is) filthy rich, but my father always had to wrap his old toys for himself when it was his bday or Christmas. I have only once received a gift from him and that was a book that he wrote himself - it wasn't even good. The whole family knows that he's narcissistic and after my dear gran passed away the three sons actually started to talk about it. It was devastating to know about all the emotional abuse my gran had to go through.
One of my uncles just moved a large amount of money to the accounts of all of us grandchildren. I don't know how to feel about it. Is it supposed to cover up for all these years he didn't love/show his love to us?
I don't wish for his death, but if he died I really wouldn't care. I usually would pray for people who were in his health right now, but I don't want to. It makes me feel bad as I should care about those weaker than me, but I just cannot pray for that man. -
Re: TSR Christian Society (X-SOC) - Mark IIITry not to beat yourself up about it. By the sounds of it, he hasn't been a good father to his children, or a grandfather to you and your cousins. So it's understandable that there would be feelings of anger, resentment and indeed indifference to his state of being at the present.(Original post by FinnLassie)

Would you like any/all of us to pray for him?
