    I have a massive thank you to say to God. Today my dad celebrated his 79th Birthday this is something I never thought he'd get to see but it proves that God is giving him strength and comforting him and blessing us with him still being here and I am so thankful,

    Aww thanks Finn. :hugs:
    It's not the rep itself that bothers me- it's the fact that someone has taken issue with something I've said but can't be bothered to tell me what. :dontknow: When I haven't said anything particularly controversial then it just seems lazy.

    This reminds me of an incident couple months back when I negged someone and they negged my most recent post (that was just some basic X-soc ramble with nothing in it) just for the sake of revenge - wtf. I don't get people who take the rep that seriously.

    It's so daft.

    Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity
    Anyone else hear this in Patrick Stewarts voice when they read it in their head? :love:

    Morning all how is everyone? I've been feeling very low and distant from God recently, so going to spend lots of time today reading the Bible and just thinking about my faith. Anyone got any particularly uplifting/favourite verses or books to recommend?

    I know how that feels. Sometimes I feel like spiritually away from God as well. I read the 'Purpose Driven Life, what on earth am i here for'. Its very amazing as the whole book is edited into 5 chapters, with each focusing on a theme e.g. The relationship with God, Serve the Lord...etc. It really unleashed my frustrations and gave me a mega spiritual support thru God's words when i was upset. Pray for u !

    Said prayers last night for all requested.

    My sister is visiting home for the next two and a half weeks! She's just lying on the sofa right now, watching a Finnish soap opera. :rofl: Nice having you back, sis. :teehee:
