Norton telling me to renew when I still have days remaining?

    Hi, I'm a bit confused as to why Norton is telling me I need to renew my subscription when I have 337 days remaining on my subscription service. I've looked online and still can't seem to find the problem.

    I can't possibly pay for another one as I don't have the money so if anyone could help me sort this out I'd be grateful.

    Don't pay for anti-virus... Especially not Norton, it's worse than a lot of the free ones available.

    Uninstall Norton.

    Install Microsoft Security Essentials.

    All your problems solved!

    Probably trying to trick you into paying again. Norton are infamous for duping consumers with their half-baked products. As mkeyd suggested, uninstall it (Google for guides, you may need a removal tool), grab a copy of MSE, and run that instead. It's supported by Microsoft, free, and works seamlessly.
