Every time I try to highlight something, say to put it into bold or italics, or if I want to edit something I was writing and want to enter it somewhere, the scroller on the sid of the box scrolls up automatically. It's ****ing annoying. Can anyone help with/solve this?

What browser and version of that browser are you using?
Is this in the quick-reply box, advanced reply, or both?

Yes, I am having the same problem. It's particularly bad when replying to pm's

If you have a box full of text (say you are replying with quote) and try to edit in some way (like insert text, bold, italic etc) the text all jumps around and the cursor doesn't go where you put it. very annoying! In fact, it's so bad that I have to copy and paste the message into notepad, do any editing I want and then paste it back into the pm reply box to send.

This really needs fixing.

I am using IE8.0.7600.16385

I really don't get any issues in Chrome or IE9 like you describe.

I'm going to get on testing in IE8 on our virtual machine to see if I can replicate anything there.

Do you get the problem in other browsers, or just IE8?

Ah, I have now been able to recreate this in IE8 and have experienced it. I can see how it's very annoying.

It's now with our developers to see if there is anything they can do to fix it.

I've been using both Chrome, IE8 and Firefox. I even tried it in opera and it's still the same thing.

My laptop has gChrome and it seems fine on there. It's just IE8

Is it possible to have the image inserter automatically jump to URL tab and be active in the entry box? As it used to be.

Also, weren't we meant to have a spoiler button already?
