    Polynomial equation help needed...
    Hi there, just having a bit of trouble solving a polynomial equation... might be fairly easy but ive been looking at it for a while and Im possibly going insane... any help much appreciated, looking for steps to solving it , not just an answer thanks !!

    2dT^3 + 3cT^2 + 6bT + 6a(ln(T)) - 563.628 = 0

    a = 19.89
    b = 5.024x10^-2
    c = 1.269x10^-5
    d = -11.01x10^-9

    It's for calculating a temperature rise in methane gas undergoing a compression where Cp is a function of temperature.
    value of T should be in the 400K region... just don't know how to go about it without using iteration technique and my calculator wont allow me to input all of these numbers... could be a long night if it comes to that. thanks again

    Re: Simultaneous equation help needed...
    K as in units of temperature not 1000*

    I can't see any simultaneous equations.

    I think graphing it is the way to go.
