How advanced is the chemistry in pharmacy?
I will be beginning a degree in pharmacy in september and am worried that I will find it difficult. I achieved a grade B in chemistry A-Level (A at AS and C at A2) along with A in biology and A* in english. I was wondering if the chemistry in pharmacy is a lot more advanced than at A-Level and if I will be able to cope, particularly when I won't have a teacher there to simplify everything for me

I'm at Manchester doing Pharmacy, in the first semester we studied "Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry" and it was a bit above A-level standard - but you do it that much it becomes a second language, and it's really interesting when it's applied to the Pharmaceutical field - you will be fine. You got an A as AS, If I remember correctly Unit 2 is the organic paper, so I wouldn't worry at all :-).
