What do study prior to Trig/Pre-Calculus

    What do study prior to Trig/Pre-Calculus
    I'm self studying Maths at the moment and what's recommended prior to Trig/Pre-Calculus,

    should I do basic geometry, angles, triangles, shapes, pythagorus, algebra 1+2, ?? is this about right?

    Which maths are you studying, GCSE or A-Level?

    If you are in A-Level then you will probably know the basics(the ones you have mentioned in your post.)

    Well it depends on what stage of your education you're at. If you've never studied trigonometry or calculus, then yes, that's pretty much exactly what you should brush up on.

    Thanks for the replies, I've went through most of the stuff and soon ready to target trig and calculus,

    i take it i should do algebra 3 which is graphs and functions?? prior to calculus?
