Re: AccommodationYour best bet might be just getting a house/flat/apartment/studio off campus? You do get some university accommodation where your rooms are adjoining but I would assume that isn't what you're on about. I believe there are some family accommodations too but since it would just be you and your partner I'm not sure whether you would qualify for that(that is without checking for myself). Most accommodation is for individuals or individuals sharing, rather than couples as far as I can think of. So, like I say, you might be better off renting from a landlord rather than the university.(Original post by NYU2012)
Does anyone happen to know what the best couples accommodation is? Is there a lot of couples accommodation available?
Thanks
Edit: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/accommod...usesintro.aspx Found this. The pricing seems ok but I couldnt advise on whether it's worth going for or not.Last edited by alexs2602; 30-03-2012 at 04:30. -

Re: AccommodationThe problem I have with living off-campus would be that I would need something furnished, as I don't really want to buy all new furniture when I get to the UK in September, which is why I was looking for something furnished on campus. Unless, of course, off-campus rooms come furnished?(Original post by alexs2602)

Re: AccommodationMost off-campus places will be furnished as far as I know. You can use this site to search properties; http://www.nottinghamstudentprs.org/ or others(which I can link you to if you want) then if the information isn't on the page you can contact them about it and check.(Original post by NYU2012)

I would advise looking at how far the property is from campus if you do get one off campus because that site serves two universities - Nottingham and Nottingham Trent. Most people at Nottingham rent properties in Beeston, Dunkirk or Lenton. The search pages should have a map at the bottom to help this. Make sure you find the right campus to give you a better idea. -
