I've managed to get a place on the PGCE course at KCL for September and was wondering if anybody else on here has? Also has anybody received anything from them?

Hi there,

Congratulations! I have also got a place for next year for science, specialising in Biology. What is your PGCE in?

I received my welcome pack, with the health forms, and information for applying for accommodation, but it was a few weeks after I got my offer before it came. They send an email telling you they are posting it.

Oooh great! I am doing a PGCE in Maths.

Yes I did get the health form and a few other bits to look at. Is that all you have received then? Did they send you any conformation about receiving your health form? I am wondering when they will enquire about where we are living...I was under the assumption that they asked at the interview but they didn't ask me! Hopefully they will before they place me!

Do you know anybody else who has got a place?

Yeh that's all they have sent me. I haven't sent my health form in yet, I just received this all before I left for holiday, but they haven't asked anything else. I wasn't asked either, but that is probably a good thing considering I have no idea where I am going to be living!

I haven't heard from anyone who else has a place. I know all the biology slots are filled though. Have you heard from anyone?

Ah good! No I'm not sure where I'm living yet either so that's good!
No I haven't heard from anyone else but it says the maths pgce is filled up too which is weird for maths!!

I too have an upcoming interview, for PGCE in Chemistry. Any info on what is required and how best to prepare would be much appreciated. I so far only have some observational experience within school.

Hello- I'm hoping to apply for the year after! But I would have to do an SKE. Do you know of anyone on the course that did this???

Also any advice on how to get in?!
